Rebecca + Jon

They were married on April 24th at the beautiful L'Auberge de Sedona.

Jon and his groomsmen getting ready at the Hilton in Sedona.

Their exquisite wedding bands.

I love the getting ready photographs because I get to witness really lovely relationships like the way that Rebecca's mom watching her daughter.

While at the Hilton, this is the moment Rebecca and Jon saw each other all dressed up. Rebecca looked gorgeous and so excited! Her make up was by Liz Margin, hair by Patricia Vega, and flowers by Bliss Extraordinary Floral.

Before the ceremony, Rebecca and Jon were photographed at Red Rock Crossing. Everything was perfect -- the weather, the light, the sound of the creek, the beautiful landscape.

Then we went to the beautiful Spanish Arts Village, Tlaquepaque, for more romantic portraits.

At the ceremony, Rebecca's nephews passed out programs. They looked so handsome.

Hillside at L'Auberge de Sedona with breathtaking red rock views.

The flowers, the rose petals, the fairytale ...

It was a really emotional ceremony (for everybody).

I love this elegant photograph of starting their married life together.

This amazing, amazing, amazing kiss was photographed by Ron. Rebecca was a bit off balance after this sexy kiss.

After the ceremony, Rebecca and Jon were photographed creekside at L'Auberge. Rebecca wanted to take advantage of all of the gorgeous locations in Sedona to be photographed and I think both she and Jon will be really happy they did.

Another sexy kiss at Oak Creek.

Rebecca's beautiful bouquet designed by Bliss Extraordinary Floral.

Events by Rosalie's of Sedona designed and catered their elegant reception at Tlaquepaque.

Congratulations Rebecca and Jon!

Black & White

Before I moved to Sedona, I only photographed in black & white. Since living here, I began to feel like color was an important part of what I was documenting with the red rocks always in the background.

Today I was reminded of the power of black & white.

Raves

This is truly why I do what I do! It makes me happy to make photos that make people happy!

oh, jenni. the photos that you and ron took of our ceremony are gorgeous--sublime even! the quality of your work quite literally brings tears to my eyes. (i've already received calls and emails from many of my friends and family saying how much they love the photos. my sister elin said she was tearing at work looking at the photos today, too.) i don't even have the words to express to you how truly grateful dean and i are for the photos that you took. we are both speechless. you have managed to capture so many of the emotions that we felt: elation, joy, happiness, silliness, glee, goofiness, fondness for one another, mutual respect, and the love that we share.

i speak for both dean and myself when i say that we couldn't have found a more wonderful photographer if we had years to look; i say this not only for the depth and stunning artistry of your work but also for warmth and happiness that radiates from your presence.

really, i cannot sing your praises high enough. thank you so much, jenni. so, so much.

big toothy smiles,
ingrid

Ingrid + Dean

They eloped on April 4th at Red Rock Crossing.

I love Ingrid's shoes!

This is the moment after they kissed, after they were announced husband and wife, after ten years of being together. I adore their reaction. It says it all!

I love this portrait of Ingrid & Dean. They didn't stop laughing, smiling, having a wonderful time. I have a feeling that this is how they probably see themselves too. This is how I see Ron and I.

Ingrid & Dean brought friends with them from Phoenix to witness their marriage. They thought it would be funny to have a bouquet toss.

Their rings were gorgeous!

Ron asked me if I wanted one like Ingrid's and of course I said yes.

You have to love a barefoot bride! The famous Cathedral Rock is in the background.

Congratulations Ingrid & Dean. We wish you many, many, many happy and healthy decades together!

My Girls

Last weekend, one of my good friends created an Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones. Thank you Sarah!

Stylish Lola has been taking her basket with her everywhere all week. She's so funny ... Ron and I told her she couldn't eat anymore candy, so she decided to lick it all instead.

It looks like Ruby is dressed as a bunny, but it is just a lucky coincidence. It was a cold day and I snuggled her up in a cute bunting.

Pamela + Gary

They were married at the spectacular L'Auberge de Sedona on April 1st.

Pamela was escorted to her wedding by her two sisters.

The ceremony was on the hillside with breathtaking red rock views. Gary mentioned that this is their fifth trip to Sedona from Florida.

You have to love a barefoot bride!

Pamela's lovely daughters were part of the wedding party. I asked Pamela's advice about raising sisters to be close throughout their life and she said, "Remind them that friends come and go, but they will always have each other."

This moment totally made me cry. After the recessional, Pamela & Gary had the most beautiful moment together.

And then we walked down to Oak Creek where they savored each other before their reception.

Pamela's beautiful bouquet and flowers were designed by Bliss Extraordinary Floral, their yummy cake was created by Sedona Cake Couture, and ethereal music performed by Oman Ken. Meghan Rudolph and Kara Cristman of L'Auberge always create gorgeous weddings!
