Laurie + Robert

July 14th was a wonderful day. Laurie & Robert were married at the Creative Life Center in Sedona by Rev. Joel Boyd and I celebrated my 29th birthday again (and again and again ...)

This is the moment where Robert saw Laurie for the first time that day.

Laurie's brother walked her down the aisle. Laurie looked radiant.

The ring exchange.

After their ceremony we went up Schnebly Hill Road for some portraits. I absolutely love this one because they were lost in each other. Ron took this stunning portrait.

Their beautiful rings.

A very cool car and another loving moment! They celebrated their marriage at the Agave Event Center where Laurie used to work. The food catered by Bonnie of Rosalie's of Sedona was fabulous as always. Their beautiful cake was created by Sedona Sweet Arts.

The Gold Team

Our good friend Mike from Taltos Productions took this photograph of Ron & I shooting a wedding at the Creative Life Center in Sedona. Now I have proof that Ron is stealing my shots :)

Lucky #7

7-7-07 at 7pm was one of this year's most coveted wedding dates!

Ron & I spent the evening photographing Beth & Chris's wedding at Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona and listening to the most beautiful music as their friends sang at their ceremony. We felt very lucky :)

This photo is of Beth getting ready. She is getting something borrowed (a toe ring) from one of the girls in the wedding party.

I love Chris's expression as he sees Beth walking down the aisle. Ron always gets a great photo of the groom while I focus on the bride.

A ceremony at the Chapel of the Red Rocks is amazing because of the beautiful Sedona view through the window -- especially during sunset. You hardly notice Chris dropping Beth's ring. As a wedding photojournalist, you love the moments that are extraordinary. They make for fun memories and stories to share. Ron still loves to tell everyone how the police came to our wedding and we had to finish the ceremony at our reception.

They were glowing as they exited to a beautiful song performed by one of the bridesmaids.

Their reception was at Cucina Rustica, one of my favorite restaurants in Sedona. Their guests surprised them with a lot of toasts and a lot of beautiful sentiment!

Chris surprised his guests with lottery tickets for everyone. Someone won $1 and generously offered to split it.

We wish you many, many years of luck!

Shelley & Brad

They were married on July 2nd at the beautiful Sedona Golf Resort by Rev. Laura Lane.

It was quite sunny that afternoon.

Shelley & Brad had dated back in high school. They were reunited after many years.

They had a sand ceremony to unite their two families. They each have one son and one daughter. This photo includes Brad's daughter Savannah and Shelley's son Carter.

I love this moment right after their wedding ceremony. They were so grateful to finally be together.

This gorgeous photo was taken on the golf course.

It was a beautiful sunset and the weather cooled perfectly for their reception.

Ron and I were very excited that Brad was a Lt. Col in the Marines. We wanted a photo to show off his decorations. They indulged our giddiness.

Erin & Ben

They were married on the 1st of July at Tlaquepaque Chapel in Sedona.

Ben smiled the entire time. This smile was during Erin's entrance into the chapel.

A moving moment during their wedding ceremony performed by Rev. Andrew Murphy.

The Chapel at Tlaquepaque was at capacity with 50 of their closest friends and family! It was great to see such a turnout.

A wedding portrait in front of the Chapel.

I had to include this beautiful black & white, also photographed at Tlaquepaque.

Heather & Ike

They were married on the 30th day of June at Dove Canyon Country Club in Southern California. It was a perfect day.

I've known Heather for almost ten years now. She is a lot of fun to be with. I felt very honored to have photographed her wedding. And it was a bonus to see so many of our mutual friends at the celebration. I love this photograph of Heather getting ready. She is radiant!

Heather's dad sees her for the first time right before he escorts her to her wedding ceremony.

It was so lovely the way that Heather and Ike gazed at each other during their ceremony.

This is the moment they were pronounced "husband and wife" right before their kiss. Heather's excitement throughout the ceremony made everyone smile!

Ron photographed this great portrait of Heather & Ike.

This location reminded me of Hawaii. It was a perfect spot for portraits of the two of them.

Irina+Henry

On June 24th at the Hassayampa Inn in Prescott, Irina & Henry were married in front of friends and family. Some traveled in from as far away as Russia.

Irina getting ready with the help of her bridesmaids.

Henry with one of his groomsmen who had a bit of a mishap at the Bachelor Party the night before that turned him into a pirate.

Irina cried tears of joy the entire evening. It was really touching.

During toasts at their reception -- the ballroom had the coolest art deco details.

A very sexy moment during their first dance.

During their reception we snuck away for a few moments of portraits where they enjoyed their newfound status as newlyweds.

Happily & eHarmony

Rita & Tommy were married on June 23rd in Sedona. Their beautiful ceremony was performed by Rev. Carla Riedel at the Sedona
Creative Life Center
. Their reception was at the Agave Event Center
and catered by the very yummy Rosalie's of Sedona.

This photo is right after their ceremony as they exit the chapel. Their smiles melted my heart!

Before their reception, we drove a ways up Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona to create some romantic red rock portraits. Tommy was still busy celebrating.

They met on eHarmony. This isn't the first couple who's wedding I've photographed to have met on the internet. I met my husband there too :)

At their reception, the smiles just got bigger. They were so happy to be together. The flowers they are wearing were brought from Hawaii from Rita's aunt & uncle and they smelled divine!

Rita is dancing with her father and in the background Tommy is dancing with his mother. It was an emotional moment for everyone.

Rita was a bit shy as Tommy retrieved her garter. Tommy really hams it up and knows how to have a good time. Their wedding was a blast!

Katie + Lee

These are the official engagement pictures of Lee & Katie. The ones we created last year in Sedona were just practice as Lee was still trying to decide on the perfect way to propose. I traveled back to Southern California where I grew up to photograph them at Seal Beach.

This cute photograph was Ron's idea.

I tell Lee that he scored with such a beautiful and intelligent woman. But I tell Katie the same thing -- she is lucky to have found such a warm and sensitive guy, who just so happens to be my brother.

I am really lucky too because I adore Katie and am very excited to be her sister-in-law.

They are getting married this winter in Mexico at Cabo San Lucas.

I love this moment!

And their goofball side. (This is what I would look like if I was bald with a goatee and had a hairy chest.)

This is a photo of my assistants -- Lola and Ron!

Carmen + Aaron

On the morning of June 22nd, Carmen & Aaron stopped in Sedona to get married on their way to Las Vegas! They were married at Red Rock Crossing by Rev. Carla Riedel.

Aaron gives Carmen the ring.

Rev. Carla blesses their union by holding Carmen & Aaron's hands.

Carmen's father also offered a blessing during the ceremony. Carmen's mom is on the far right. I overheard her say that she knew Aaron was special for Carmen the moment she met him.

Carmen and her four sisters.

A thoughtful portrait of the two of them before they joined their family and friends for a toast and a delicious cake by Sedona Sweet Arts.

Abby+Carlos

Abby & Carlos were married on June 18th by Rev. Andrew Murphy at Red Rock Crossing in Sedona. Their ceremony was witnessed by both of their families.

Abby was amazing as not only did she hike to her ceremony in heels but she's having a baby!

Carlos's groomsmen were his brothers. Carlos is on the left.

Abby had tears of joy throughout the ceremony. It was really sweet!

Abby is congratulated by Carlos's dad.

I love this picture of Abby's ring.

Abby & Carlos looked gorgeous together. They are really excited about being together and starting their family.
